Great venue for the Bulls games. You can tell the City put some $$ into the arena to help reestablish the Hockey fan base. As far a all other activities... this place is booming and on spot. Only negative would be the seating. Seats are big enough and comfortable, but as like most other places, you will have to stand EVERY TIME someone wants to get by... even if they are a kid, toothpick.. ect...
Simply an amazing visit. I was able to vote for Doug Jones for Senate today. A great candidate for Alabama.
We've enjoyed a few Birmingham Bulls Hockey games here this year. Overall, it's a decent setup they have right now. I only have two real complaints. First, there is no leg-room for a lot of the seating. You think I'm joking but I'm not. We've sat in multiple locations. Your knees will very likely touch the row in front of you, no matter how tall/short you are. Same with elbow space. I believe anyone above "average" size will find the seating arrangement very uncomfortable and unaccommodating. Second, there is no room in the front lobby/entrance. Between everyone entering the building and all the merchandise/vendor tables as soon as you walk into the building... it's just a crowded nightmare!! I love the Bulls but I will be SO glad when they finally move back to the BJCC (as I've heard they will eventually, thank goodness!!).

This is a great place to go, it is one of my favorite things to do is to watch the hockey games. The atmosphere is a very great place.
