We are using it for a layover in traveling from Tennessee to Pensacola.
Conveniently located just off I65.
We only stayed for one night but it was adequate. Pros: Nice pool, camp store, clean restrooms and shade. Cons: Road around campground in serious need of resurfacing, sites are narrow and many are not very level. Convenient to I-65.
Campground setup nice store/office well supplied. Reasonable prices.
Staff efficient and friendly.
Only used storage lot this trip.
This is a good 3 star, we arrived later than expected and the office was closed, but had our information and site posted for us. Its an older campground and from how crowded it is, it must be a good location and place to be. Just off of I-65 it was easy to get in and out of.
Super friendly staff. Convenient location. Minutes from anything you could want or need yet still quiet and secluded.
My folks park their RV there when they come to visit. It's a well kept RV Campground. There's a store on site that has a few light camping supplies. Bathrooms and showers are always clean. It's very close to several restaurants and not too far from Oak Mountain Amphitheater.
